Over 200 construction artisans in Migori County have been trained and accredited with certificates by the National Construction Authority (NCA).
The group is the first cohort among tens of artisans who will be trained within the next few weeks under the sponsorship of the office of the Migori County Woman Representative in the National Assembly, Fatumah Mohammed. “The trainings will help the local construction workers secure relevant certification in their respective fields,” said Mohammed during the graduation event held at Awendo recreational Park in Awendo town.
A total 2,000 construction artisans who operate in Jua-Kali sector without certification will be trained by the NCA.
