HIGHER EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES IN KENYA FOR COMOROS STUDENTS
Kenya and Comoros are working closely to allow students from Comoros to pursue higher education in Kenya. President William Ruto says if actualized the students from the state located on the Indian Ocean off the coast of East Africa will pay the same amount of fees as their Kenyan counterparts.
President Ruto spoke on Thursday, July 6, 2023, in Moroni during the 48th Independence Day celebration of the union of Comoros.
The Head of State also said Kenya will remove visa requirements for the people of Comoros to boost trade between the two countries. He called on Africa to abolish inhibitive visa requirements if the continent is to realize the free movement of people.
