KENYAN VARSITIES EXPLORING COLLABORATION WITH COUNTERPARTS IN AUSTRALIA

Kenyan Universities are seeking collaboration with their counterparts in Australia as the country rolls out Competency-Based Education and Training.

During the meeting, the Kenyan delegation was led by TVET Principal Secretary Dr. Esther Muoria, while the team from Curtin University Australia, was led by H.E Jenny Da Rin, the High Commissioner of Australia to Kenya

Curtin University’s strong industry-engaged approach aligns with Kenya’s vision for skills-based, job-ready education.  The focus of the discussions was on exploring partnerships for training and exchange programmes with Curtin University, that specializes in Mining.

Kenyan universities represented, including JKUAT and Taita Taveta University, signalled a strong local commitment to enhancing global academic partnerships
