KOIMBURI FAKED HIS ABDUCTION –IG KANJA SAYS

Findings released by the inspector general of police Douglas Kanja and DCI boss Mohamed Amin, Juja MP George Koimburi faked his own abduction. The two have revealed what they described as a carefully orchestrated plan involving close associates and a staged abduction scene.

 Kanja said one suspect, Karanja Gatana, has been arrested and told the police that they helped Koimburi tear his clothes to fake evidence of torture. According to Kanja  investigations revealed that the MP acted on instructions from Peter Kiratu, the chairman of the Juja NG-CDF, in whose homestead the entire abduction was orchestrated.

The IG further revealed that after the alleged abduction, Koimburi was dropped at a hotel where they had drinks and spent the night together with the two supposed abductors.

The police boss said the next day, they drove him to the scene where he was allegedly found dumped.
