MARCH/APRIL 2025 CBET ASSESSMENT RESULTS RELEASED

87,904 candidates have been certified after the March/April 2025 Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) assessment.

The official release of the results at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, in Nairobi on Thursday, June 5, 2025, presided over by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba and the Principal Secretary for TVET, Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria marked a significant milestone in continued efforts to transform technical and vocational education in Kenya.

“ The CBET model is proving instrumental in aligning training with the needs of the job market. By emphasizing practical, hands-on skills, we are equipping our youth with competencies that are directly applicable in the workplace,” said Ogamba.

In the March/April 2025  cycle, the candidates were assessed across 251 qualifications, representing a 33% increase from the previous assessment period. “This notable growth reflects increasing public trust in the TVET sector and its potential to provide meaningful career pathways. As a government, we remain steadfast in our commitment to expanding access to training, promoting gender equity, and strengthening collaboration with industry partners to ensure that Kenya develops a globally competitive and future-ready workforce,” emphasized the Cabinet Secretary.
