Institutions seeking accreditation can apply online through the TVET MIS portal https://mis.tveta.go.ke/ and entails among others:
· Issuance of letter of no objection (for private institutions)
· Application for registration of business name with the Registrar of Companies (for private institutions)
· Creation (sign-up) of an institutional account in the MIS portal and filling of the online form
· Payment of the requisite fee
· Acknowledgment
· Inspection by TVETA
· Registration and Licensing
