Safaricom Unveils Time-based Data Bundles

Safaricom has unveiled B-Live, a bold new campaign designed to redefine how customers experience the internet. The new bundle is an industry first, offering customers access to the internet based on time, not megabytes.

This innovation adds to the existing Safaricom traditional MB/GB bundle options, giving more choices to customers.

“We recognize that our customers are different. Some prefer managing their usage in MBs or GBs, while others simply want to enjoy the internet for a set period of time. By adding this option, we are putting control back in the hands of our customers and enabling them to focus on what matters most, whether that’s learning, creating, connecting or hustling”, said Fawzia Ali-Kimanthi, Chief Consumer Business Officer, Safaricom PLC.

B -Live builds on Safaricom’s commitment to being an enabler of Kenya’s digital lifestyle. By expanding bundle options, Safaricom is ensuring that every customer, youth, creators, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and professionals has the power to choose what works for them.

B-Live Data bundle is available via *544# or *555#, offering a range of hourly bundles. Customers can access 1 hour for KES 20, 3 hours for KES 50, nd 6 hours for KES 150. This makes it easier for more Kenyans to access and enjoy digital content without worrying about data depletion or confusing usage limits.
