TUM GRADUATE ENGINEER BAGS NATIONAL RESEARCH AWARD
Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) graduate engineer, Aggrey Shitsukane Shisiali, has emerged as the overall winner of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) National Outstanding Researchers Awards in the Physical Sciences, Technology, and Innovation category.
Eng. Shitsukane was recognized for his groundbreaking scientific discoveries and achievements, particularly in the field of electrical and electronics engineering within the TVET sector. Eng. Shitsukane holds a senior technologist position in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering department at TUM.
TUM’s don Prof Francis Mutuku was awarded a certificate of recognition as an outstanding national researcher in the Biological Sciences, Technology, and Innovation category.
The National Outstanding Researchers Awards are used to recognize exceptional Kenyan researchers for their contributions to economic transformation through innovative research. The goal is to inspire the next generation to pursue research careers.
