Trainees from 150 TVET institutions are participating in the Huawei ICT
Competition 2025–2026.
The global challenge offers TVET trainees a platform to apply their skills internationally, benchmark against global industry standards and showcase Kenya’s talent to the world.
The initiative seeks to strengthen Kenya’s position in the global digital economy, open pathways for youth employment and entrepreneurship, and ensure our workforce is ready for the fast-evolving technology landscape.
During the launch of the 10th edition in Nairobi, TVET Principal Secretary Dr. Esther Muoria urged full participation to ensure that every skill learned has a clear path to opportunity and impact.
