Nyandarua National Polytechnic has held its 2nd graduation ceremony, releasing 1,500 graduands into the job market.
The institution has set the pace in rolling out the modularized Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curriculum, with strong industry partnership in delivery of the curriculum. This year’s graduates formed the pioneer CBET cohort from the Polytechnic, following its elevation in 2020.
A section of graduates from the Polytechnic successfully participated in the Mkulima Majuu programme in the United Kingdom, organized in liaison with the State Department for Diaspora Affairs. The graduates will get extended contracts as part of the State Department’s commitment to continually strengthen the TVET sector.
