15% DISCOUNT FOR UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI GOVERNMENT SPONSORED STUDENTS

Government-sponsored students set to join the University of Nairobi will enjoy a 15 percent fee discount on actual program costs.

In his first address after resuming duty after a month’s leave that was announced by the University Council in August, University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor Professor Stephen Kiama said the discount applies to all programs being offered at the university and is in line with President William Ruto’s request.

Prof. Kiama directed all faculties to set up help desks to assist students who wish to request for government scholarships to ensure no student will miss funding under the New Funding Model.

He announced that the opening date for new students will be on 25th September, while continuing students will report on 9th October. The VC also disclosed that the 69th graduation will be in person on 22 September and called for proper planning to make the day a success.
